In respect to Rivera, the two primary factors that have affected the sense or definition of " Filipino American Identity” will be colonization and immigration. The vision of the Filipino to my way of thinking is an individual whose personality is culturally resilient in adapting and overcoming adversity and yet and so culturally fractured in our id. He was approved his green card because of the military and led his family to the claims for a better life. My own grandfather and grandmother acquired fifteen kids and my mom was the youngest. If he was not naturally that resident card to work in the U. S., my children would nevertheless be behind within a generation of any Filipino-American. But you may be wondering what makes someone Filipino, and coming from what We have noticed, it is far from necessarily the looks, language, and tradition, but the patterned belief penalized culturally resistant and getting culturally fractured at the same time. Filipinos are strong. We have been able to overcome a lot of hardships and horrors but still continue to deal with and get over the bias both in the...
