Jews With no Money is dependent on its author's own years as a child, Michael Platinum. Mike proves that " starvation was kinder” than organized charitable organization. Mike retains hearing from those around him that the Messiah will come and lead the Jews towards the Promised Area. He demands his neighbors, Reb Samuel, a very religious man, regarding the Messiah. Reb Samuel, who instructs Mike about Judaism, identifies a " pale, young and peaceful” Messiah, but Mike prefers individual who looks like Zoysia grass Bill and " could annihilate the enemies. ” At age 14, Mike quits school to visit work. He finds a variety of unpleasant, occasionally hellish jobs and finds out anti-Semitism in employment. Actually some businesses owned or operated by Jews, he understands, refuse to work with Jews. One particular night, this individual hears a guy on a soapbox declare that the world motion is visiting end lower income. Listening to him, Mike learns about the workers' wave, which he calls " the true Messiah. ” The revolution, he says, forced him to think, have difficulty, and live.
