Java Record

• 1991 - Green Team started out by Sunshine

Microsystems.

• *7 Portable controller pertaining to multiple

entertainment systems.

• There was a need for a coding language

that would run on various devices.

• Java (first named Oak) was developed for this

purpose.

Introduction

• Java enabled web browser (HotJava)

demonstrated by 1995 Sun World meeting.

• Java incorporated in to Netscape soon after.

• Java is " cross platform”, meaning that it can

run on numerous computer systems.

Java Applications and Applets

• Java courses can be of two types:

– Applications

• Stand-alone applications that run with no aid of your web

web browser.

• Calm security version since the customer runs the program

locally.

– Applets

• Small applications that require the use of a Java allowed web browser to run.

• Improved security model since the user merely goes toward a

website and the applet runs alone.

So why Program?

• Computers will be tools that can be programmed to

perform many functions, just like:

• spreadsheets

• games

• sources

• and so forth

• phrase processing

• Computers happen to be versatile since they can be

set.

• Computer system Programmers implement programs

that perform these kinds of functions.

Why Program?

Aspects of your computer program that needs to be designed:

– The logical flow from the instructions

– The numerical procedures

– The layout in the programming transactions

– The appearance of the displays

– The way in which information is usually presented to the user

– The program's " user friendliness”

– Manuals, support systems, and other forms of written

documents.

So why Program?

• Programs has to be analytically appropriate as well.

• Programs almost never work the very first time they are

programmed.

• Coders must execute the following on a

continual basis:

–

–

–

–

analyze,

experiment,

correct, and

redesign.

• Programming languages have strict rules, called

syntax, that must be carefully implemented.

Personal computers: Hardware

• Computer hardware pieces are the

physical pieces of the computer.

• The hardware components of the computer

are:

– The central control unit (CPU)

– Working memory

– Secondary storage equipment

– Output and input devices

– The CPU works the fetch, decode, do cycle

in order to process program information.

The CPU's control unit brings, from physical memory,

the next instruction in the pattern of plan instructions.

The instruction can be encoded by means of a number.

The control product decodes the instruction and

generates an electronic signal.
